    Sara Hoyos, MS, IPEC

    Sara holds a Master’s degree in Psychology and has over a decade of experience in vocational evaluation. She supports Elevate Pathways by contributing to high-quality evaluations and collaborating closely with counselors to ensure findings translate into meaningful, client-centered recommendations. Sara’s work focuses on identifying individual strengths, needs, and barriers to support clear, practical pathways that help clients achieve their goals.

    Laura Hoyos, BBA, ICVE

    Laura brings 15 years of combined experience in human resources, vocational rehabilitation counseling, and program management. In addition to conducting evaluations, she leads operations and HR, strengthening service delivery and organizational effectiveness. Laura provides accessible, client-centered services that support Elevate Pathways’ mission by advancing personalized career pathways for individuals with disabilities.

  • Dr. Maribel Del Rio-Roberts, Psy.D.

    Dr. Maribel Del Rio-Roberts, Psy.D.

    Dr. Del Rio-Roberts is a Licensed Florida Psychologist with over 20 years of experience specializing in psycho-educational and psychological assessments, including autism, ADHD, learning disorders, and developmental evaluations. She is an Assistant Professor at Nova Southeastern University, where she directs the Master’s program in Developmental Disabilities and leads research focused on autism, early intervention, and transitional services.

    She has consulted for organizations including Special Olympics, Early Head Start, and Florida’s Agency for Persons with Disabilities, is the author of The Playful Minds Coping Skills Program, and has contributed to numerous publications. Dr. Del Rio-Roberts provides services in English and Spanish.

    Dr. Amanda Wolfson, Psy.D

    Dr. Wolfson earned her Master of Science degrees (2016, 2018) and Doctor of Psychology degree (2021) from Nova Southeastern University. Throughout her training, she specialized in trauma-informed care and serving underserved populations, providing individual therapy, group therapy, and forensic evaluations. She also volunteered on mission trips to support communities affected by natural disasters.

    She completed her internship with the Broward Sheriff’s Office, where she provided therapy to individuals housed on the mental health units of North Broward Bureau. Following graduation, she dedicated her post-doctoral residency to conducting neuropsychological evaluations with adults and older adults experiencing neurocognitive and neurodevelopmental disorders.

    Dr. Wolfson is passionate about creating a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental environment for her clients. She is committed to helping her clients feel supported and understood. She provides services in both English and Spanish.

    Ana Upegui, BA, CHRM — Evaluator Assistant

    Ana brings comprehensive experience in vocational evaluation and community leadership, helping individuals identify their strengths, overcome challenges, and achieve meaningful career goals.

    With a background in psychology and human resources, she provides compassionate, results-oriented support through vocational assessments and personalized guidance that promote growth and self-confidence.

    Throughout her career, Ana has worked directly with clients to support their emotional and vocational development while also leading programs that strengthen communication, conflict resolution, and personal growth. She is dedicated to empowering individuals to gain independence, confidence, and lasting success.

  • Dr. Christina L. Brumer, Psy.D.

    Dr. Christina Brumer is a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience in psychological, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological assessment for children, adolescents, and adults. She specializes in evaluating learning, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning to support individualized treatment, educational, and vocational planning.

    Throughout her career, Dr. Brumer has served diverse populations in both private and public settings, including Miami-Dade County Public Schools, and private forensic and clinical practices. Her expertise includes trauma-focused care, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and forensic evaluations for juvenile and adult courts.

    Dr. Brumer earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Carlos Albizu University. She is currently in pre-admission coursework toward a Master of Liberal Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Harvard University Extension School. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the National Academy of Neuropsychology.
